At 10:20 on July 1st, the amphibious V-type 8-cylinder pure methanol fuel engine independently developed by SHILIDER was successfully ignited in one attempt, marking a breakthrough in the development of the aircraft.

SHILIDER is able to quickly develop a series of methanol engines using digital twin technology and iterative optimization techniques on the research and development platform for the V-type 8-cylinder methanol fuel engine with full water and land characteristics. This model has a displacement of 14L, uses a single methanol fuel, and is developed based on a amphibious platform. It is suitable for surface ships, land engineering, and internal combustion engine power generation fields, and has excellent characteristics in terms of propulsion, vehicle characteristics, load characteristics, and high specific power density throughout the entire process.

Under the guidance of the national "dual carbon" strategy, SHILIDER focuses on independent and controllable core technologies, and combines SHILIDER's advanced technologies in marine engines and land gas engines to plan sustainable and high-quality development goals for methanol fuel internal combustion engines and hydrogen fuel internal combustion engines. It continuously breaks through key bottleneck core technologies, applies independent innovation achievements, and promotes the green and sustainable development of internal combustion engines.

The successful ignition of the methanol fuel V-type high-efficiency engine is not only a landmark achievement for SHILIDER to move towards carbon neutrality, but also an important practice for China's "dual carbon" strategic goal. It also means a breakthrough in zero carbon technology for high-speed methanol engines and demonstrates SHILIDER's determination and strength to accelerate the achievement of zero carbon goals.
