At 19:30 on August 17, 2023, the 1650 hour reliability verification test of SHILIDER CHD622V20STC diesel engine was successfully completed. During this period, the engine operated stably and all indicators met the test requirements.
As a professional R&D and manufacturing enterprise of high-speed and high-power internal combustion engines in China's shipbuilding industry, SHILIDER has achieved a fundamental transformation from "introduction digestion absorption re innovation" to "independent development of high-end and independent brand internal combustion engines" after years of development. After years of continuous improvement and iterative upgrading, the CHD622 series diesel engine products independently developed by the company have stable performance, high reliability, and have achieved good market application performance. In order to meet the requirements of a certain project and further fully verify the reliability of the CHD622V20STC diesel engine, the enterprise raised funds to conduct a 1650 hour reliability verification test starting from April this year, which lasted for 4 months. This high-power long-term reliability test is the first of its kind in SHILIDER.
The company attaches great importance to it and has established a mechanism for promoting experimental work. The main person in charge personally leads and commands from the front. A testing team consisting of 16 key members from the technical center and the final assembly plant voluntarily gave up their holiday breaks to overcome difficulties such as high temperatures and long testing times in summer. They operated in three shifts and four runs, and continued to fight for more than 120 days. The company's labor union took the initiative to provide heatstroke prevention and cooling supplies to the on-site test personnel five times, greatly inspiring their fighting spirit to overcome difficulties. The on-site team has withstood the test together with the product. As the saying goes, an excellent team creates excellent products, and high-quality products create an excellent team.
